Our Route
Edinburgh -> London -> Thailand on 9th September 2008. Not intending spending much time in Bangkok, gonna try to get down to Kao Tao pretty quick to meet up with James and Kat for some Scuba Diving, Sunning and Singha. After a few more weeks in Thailand we're heading on to Singapore.
Malaysia and Singapore: Heading to a few places on the peninsular part of Malaysia then down to meet Sally and Janet in Singapore for a couple of days. Then we're going back up to Johar Baru in Malaysia to get a flight to Borneo.
Borneo: Looks like there's load to do and see, cant wait to see Orang Utangs sanctuary, should be awesome!
Back to Malaysia and Singapore to see whatever we haven't already seen before flying to Cairns at the start of November.
Oz East Coast: Gonna work our way down to Sydney for Christmas and New Year. Then flying to Auckland in the first few days of the New Year.
New Zealand: Working our way round North and South islands for six weeks and finishing up in Queenstown, then flying back to Sydney.
Oz East Coast again: Working our way down to Melbourne, where it looks like we are gonna have to get jobs to fund some of the trip. Reckon we'll end up working for about three months, then do a bit of touring up to Adelaide to spend a bit of time before flying to Perth.
Oz West Coast: We're having a few weeks on the west coast, going to see Kerrin's Dad's cousin Ian, his wife Lorna and their kids Nathan, Catherine and Rachel, will be great to see them again. See some more of the west coast then fly to Johannesburg in May.
South Africa: We're going to work our way down the coast, stopping at Goboti village for a week or so to help out Jenny next doors (Edinburgh) charity with some jobs, then continue down to Cape Town to meet Kerrin's Mum and Dad for a bit and then head back to Johannesburg where we are gonna go on a Safari for a month.
Safari: The safari will take us up through Botswana, Victoria Falls (Zambia side), Malawi, Tanzania, and ending in Kenya. Sounds awesome fun, tons to see and do on it. We're then going to have a few weeks left in Kenya to chill before we come back. Most likely going to meet up with Cory and head up to Lesley's old school in Kapenguria tosee what it is like and finally spend a few more weeks on a beach (if we're not sick of them by then!) before coming back to Scotland.
Well, thats the plans for just now, probably all gonna change.
